Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 31, at Central Christian Church in Higginsville. Rev. Cheryl Sanders officiated. Music was provided by Melody Coen, organist.
Pallbearers were Tony Lamb, Robert Hunsperger, Jordan Lamb, Garrett Lamb, Brian Lamb and Brady Lamb.
Burial was in the City Cemetery in Higginsville. Memorials are suggested to Central Christian Church or Higginsville American Legion Auxiliary.
Born Nov. 17, 1916, in Windsor, she was the daughter of the late Otto Kahmann and Mabel Ruth Bauder Kahmann. On March 3, 1940, she married Charles Gilbert Lamb, who preceded her in death Dec. 20, 1985.
She worked as a secretary for the Higginsville Garment Factory, Ozark Camper Factory in Concordia, then Ziems Motor Company in Higginsville, retiring in 1976. She lived in Higginsville from 1960 until 1997, when she moved to Marshall. She was a member of the Higginsville American Legion Auxiliary and the Higginsville American Business and Professional Women's Club.
Survivors include four sons, Gilbert Lamb of Marshall, Dale Lamb of Hollister, Lynn Lamb of Warrensburg and Robert Lamb of Gladstone; one sister, Marjorie Hunsperger of Raymore; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grand-children.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Harold Kahmann.
