Harriet Fay Spence Peterson, 87, formerly of Piedmont Avenue, died Thursday, Jan. 28, 1999, in Lake Haven Manor.
She was born in Superior to Edward and Ina Evanson and had lived in Duluth most of her life. She was employed by Oreck's Department Store and with Duluth Laundry as a bookkeeper for over 25 years, retiring in 1975.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Lyle Spence and John Peterson; and a brother, Harold Evans.
Surviving are two sisters, Marjorie (Clarence) Black of Hermantown and Dorothy Hay of Dallas; and a brother, Lawrence V. (Doris) Begin of Duluth.
