Harold W. Pryor, Sr., age 76 of Gallatin, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2015. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, April 28th at 12:00 noon from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home, with Harold W. Pryor, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Gallatin Cemetery, with Harold W. Pryor, Jr., Stephen Fischer, Chuck Wilson, Chris Smith, Wesley Pryor, and Peter Matteson serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Monday, April 27th from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, April 28th from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Mr. Pryor was born June 29, 1938 in Sumner County, to the late General Edward Pryor and Annie Mae Adcock Pryor. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Hubert Pryor and Howard Pryor. He is survived by son, Harold W. Pryor, Jr (Julia Leigh Brown) of Hartsville; daughters, Melinda K. Fischer of Gallatin, and Monica M. Frost (Terry) of Gallatin; brothers, Willie Pryor (Ossie) of Indianapolis, IN, and Eugene Pryor of Portland; sisters, Lillian Carter of Gallatin, Mary Holland of Tucson, AZ, and Katharine Witcher of Indianapolis, IN; 7 grandchildren, Jennifer Smith (Chris), Julia Matteson (Peter), Valarie Beirman (Josh), Stephen Fischer (Lisa), Harold W. Jessie (Katie), Wesley Austin Pryor, and Caitlynn Mae Pryor; and 14 great-grandchildren. Online condolences may be submitted at alexanderfh.info.
