John S. Spence, 84, of 2519 Harvey St., a Duluth resident for 80 years, died in a Duluth hospital Monday. He had been employed in the sales division of Zinsmaster Baking Co. for 40 years prior to retiring in 1955. He was a member of Trinity Masonic Lodge and Eagles Aerie No. 79. He was born in Ontario. Survivors are three sons, Marvin, Allyn and Raymond; two daughters, Mrs. Lester (Lois) Seger and Mrs. Lloyd (Shirley) Frey, all of Duluth; a sister, Mrs. Mary Mowbray, North Brook, Ill.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
