Mrs. Bringhurst was born Sunday, April 21, 1895 in Rockville, Washington County, a daughter of Alfred L. and Julia Hansen Hall. She married Leo Bringhurst on Thursday, December 10, 1925 in the St. George LDS Temple.
She had lived in Toquerville, Washington County, until 1968 where she had been a school teacher.
Survivors included her husband, two daughters and two sons, Mrs. Reece (Luzon) Glines, American Fork; Mrs. Emron (Melva) Jensen, Ogden; Wayne Bringhurst, Fontana, California, and Antone Bringhurst, Logan; 24 grandchildren; six brothers and one sister, Merrill Hall, Lafayette Hall, Alvin Hall, Harvey Hall and Clinton Hall, all of Hurricane; Vernon Hall and Mrs. Terry (Nora) Lund, both of Salt Lake City.
Friends could call at Spilsbury and Graff Mortuary, St. George, on Friday, April 4, 1975 from 7 to 8 p.m. and at the Hurricane Stake Center Saturday, April 5, 1975 from 10:30 a.m. until time of services. Funeral services were held Saturday, April 5, 1975 at noon in the Hurricane Stake Center. Burial was in Toquerville Cemetery.
