The daughter of Jesse "Lee" Vint and Ethel May Barrow, Ruth was born in Monroe County, Indiana.

Ruth worked at Eli Lilly and Company in Indianapolis, Indiana for many years. She was a member of the Worthington Assembly of God Church.

The mother of 1 son, Ruth traveled extensively to visit family, friends and historic sites throughout the world.

She was known for her kindness and thoughtfulness. She never failed to remember the birthdays and special events of her loved ones and extended family members.

Ruth passed away 5 days before her 88th birthday at Bloomington Hospitality House. Her death was attributed to pneumonia and congestive heart failure.

She was buried on 21 Mar 2006 and was survived by her son and daughter-in-law; 1 grandson; 2 great-grandchildren; 1 half-sister, 2 half-brothers and their families.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; 1 sister, Alice; 1 brother, Leo; and 1 half-brother, Robert.
