Leonora Okula, 82, of Sweezy Avenue, Riverhead, died February 16, 1976, at the Central Suffolk Hospital, Riverhead. The widow of the late Paul Okula, well known Calverton farmer, she was born in Poland August 16, 1893.
Mrs. Okula was a member of St. Isidore's R.C. Church, where she belonged to the Sacred Heart Society, Rosary Society and the Third Order of St. Francis.
Surviving are five daughters and five sons, Lottie Putzke, Helen Mazura and Dorothy Podlas, all of Riverhead, Sophie Truskolaski, Laurel, Genevieve Graygor, Southampton, Joseph and Richard Okula, Riverhead, Edmund of Orient, John of Huntington, and Stephan of Ridge; a sister, Mrs. Anna Rutkowski, Riverhead, 24 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren also survive.
A Recitation of the Rosary will be held tonight. February 19, at the Danowski Funeral Home at 8 p.m. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Friday, February 20, at 9:30 a.m. in St. Isidore's Church. Interment will be in St. John's R.C. Cemetery, Riverhead.
