Mr. Robert A. Adams
Mr. Robert A. Adams, age 62, of Hanover, Indiana entered this life on July 15, 1952 in Jefferson County, Indiana. He was the loving son of Robert N. and Martha Elizabeth Wooten Adams. He lived all of his life in the Hanover community and was a 1972 graduate of Southwestern High School. In December 1972 he was inducted into the United States Army and was honorably discharged from Fort Bliss. On March 30, 1985 he was united in marriage to Peggy Sue Elmore at the Hayden Baptist Church in Jennings County, Indiana. This happy union of thirty years was blessed with two sons, Robert F. and Richard N. and a daughter, Katie M. Robert was a member of the New Prospect Baptist Church near Hanover, Indiana. Robert had farmed all of his life and enjoyed the outdoors. Robert enjoyed tinkering, gardening, camping, traveling and being with his family and his friends. He was a devoted husband, loving dad, son, brother and grandpa. Robert died on Sunday, April 26, 2015, at 4:00 p.m. at his home near Hanover, Indiana.

Adams of Hanover, Indiana; his loving sisters, Connie Macrander and her husband, Mike of Lexington, Indiana, Sandra Stanley and her husband, Jim of Kent, Indiana, Janet Degler and her husband, Kenny of Hanover, Indiana; his aunts, Evelyn Handlon, Wauneta Weber, Virginia Adams, Phyllis Adams and Betty Adams; his uncles, Melvin & Linda Adams, Clifford & Carolyn Adams, Wesley Turner and Kenny Wooten; his aunts, Evelyn Handlon, Wauneta Weber, Virginia Adams, Phyllis Adams and Betty Adams; his uncles, Melvin & Linda Adams, Clifford & Carolyn Adams, Wesley Turner and Kenny Wooten; his father in law, Dick Elmore and his companion, Mary Ryan of Phoenix, Arizona; his mother in law, Sue Elmore of North Vernon, Indiana; his sister in law, Patty Ruddick and her husband, Andy of Seymour, Indiana; his brother in law, Bill Elmore of Seymour, Indiana;several nieces, nephews and other relatives; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Elizabeth Wooten Adams, died September 19, 2003; his grandparents, Newton Thomas and Lottie Fay Nighbert Adams; Frank and Ruth Wooten.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, May 1, 2015, at 1:00 p.m., by Bro. Dan Corbin, Rev. Irmal Elliott and Mr. Clifford Adams at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the New Prospect Cemetery near Hanover, Indiana
