She was born here on June 28, 1884, a daughter of Michael and Ann Donlin Hartford and attended local schools. She was employed as a seamstress for many years in several woman's apparel shops in the Ilion area. Miss Hartford moved to Utica about 25 years ago where she was a member of St. Francis de Sales Church and a former member of Christ Child's Society.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. George M. Carney, Utica, with whom she lived, and Mrs. Romain B. Julian, Ilion; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be conducted at 8:30 am, Wednesday from the Keilbach and Rockwell Funeral Home, Utica, and at 9 am, from St. Francis de Sales Church, with burial in St. Agnes Cemetery, Ilion.
