Emma Jean Adams, 76, Pontiac, died at 5:14 a.m. Sunday (May 28, 2006) at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born Aug. 26, 1929, in Pontiac, a daughter of Charles W. and Clara Foster Harris.
She was a graduate of Pontiac grade and high schools.
She married Russell E. Adams on March 9, 1949, in Kankakee. He survives in Pontiac.
Also surviving are two daughters, Cindy L. (Jim) Sniegowski and Debra K. (Ralph) Weaver, one sister, Dorothy Adams, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Vicky Lee and one brother, Everett L. Harris.
