1947~2015
James Dee Giles, 68, our loving, and devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great grandfather, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2015. James was born April 8, 1947 in Heber, Utah to Ferrus Monroe and Margaret Chiarelli Giles. He attended Tabiona High School. James learned how to work at a young age and worked hard throughout his life. He taught his children how to work by his strong work ethic. He worked on the family farm for many years, worked for many of the Central Utah Water Projects, and retired from Mountain State Steel.
He married his high school sweetheart, Janet Enid Price, on May 9, 1964 in Tabiona, Utah. They were later sealed for time and all eternity on May 9, 1998 in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple. James and Janet were a devoted, loving, and inseparable couple for over 50 years. James loved his family and they meant the world to him. He enjoyed yard work, garage sales, camping, the Utah Jazz, and most of all being with his family. He was a member and served in the LDS Church. James was a kind, quiet, giant of a man and he will be dearly missed.
