Coroner Ruling On Death of George W Strine
George Washington Strine was found run over by a Hocking Valley Railway switch engine on March 6, 1908. Coroner inquest ruled that "Strine was unlawfully riding on a freight train and when in the act of jumping was thrown to the ground and instantly killed". The coroner ruling exonerates the Hocking Valley Railway Company.
