Cognitive behaviorist and educator. He was one of six full-time therapists hired by the United States Postal Service in the mid-1990s to counsel its some 11,000 employees in the Los Angeles districts. Dr. Weisman was in charge of the facility at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), where he held a course in anger management, to help keep postal employees from--to use the popular term--"going postal." A 1997 article in the Los Angeles Times described him as a "town crier for psychological well-being."
