Gertude Smyth Edwards McGee of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, widow of Delmar Edwards and Fred McGee, departed this life on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at the age of 87 years, 3 months and 7 days. She was a daughter of the late Edward Walter and Myrtle McKinley Hall Smyth born in Little Sinkin, Kentucky on July 22, 1927. Gertrude is survived by two sons, Ronald Delmar Edwards (Judith Ann) of Canada, Kentucky and Roger Allen Edwards of Calhoun, Georgia; three daughters, Elaine Lowe (Mike) and Peggy Edwards of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky and Sue Williamson (Bill "Giggles") of Pikeville, Kentucky; one brother, Gary Smyth of Beattyville, Kentucky; three sisters, Delilah Hall and Shirley Hall both of Cobb Hill, Kentucky and Gladys Gross of Procious, West Virginia; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Delmar Edwards and Fred McGee; her parents, Edward Walter and Myrtle McKinley Hall Smyth; four brothers, Edward Smyth, Donald Smyth, Benny Smyth and Gerald Smyth and one sister, Anna Childers. She also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Officiated By
