Born in Lykens, Nov. 14, 1918, he was a son of the late Andrew and Sophia Krobath Breit.
Albert was a Navy veteran of World War II, where he served as photographer.
He was employed by the former Air Force Base at Middletown and retired from the Philadelphia Procurement Office of Army Communications-Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, N.J.
He was a member of Ss. Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Chapel, Tower City, and a life member of Tower City American Legion 468 and Tower City Loyal Order of Moose. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 2486, Lykens, and the Senior Citizens Center, Tremont.
He was predeceased by his wife, Lena Knorr Breit; brothers, George and Arthur Breit; and sisters, Mary Lakatos, Margaret O'Brein, Barbara Gentile, Clara Gaffney, Anna Chester and Rosalia Stambaugh.
Surviving are his dear friend, Mary Toward, Tower City; his loving niece and caregiver, Beth Shive and her husband, Dennis; his niece, Regina Raudenbush; nieces and nephews.
