Claude was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII and served in the European campaign. Member of Spring Branch VFW Post No. 8790. Retired from Nabisco Baking Company after 33 years of service. Claude joined the Roman Catholic faith, and became an early member of St. Peter's Catholic Church; after a move to Spring Branch, he and Jo joined St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. Claude was a wonderful person and was devoted to his wife, Jo. He loved to go camping to fish and hunt. His hobbies included gardening and photography. Visitation on Wednesday 6 to 9 pm, Woodlawn Funeral Home. Funeral service, Thursday, Sept. 11 at 4:00 pm with Rev. Guy A. Fregeau, officiant.
