He was a retired job-setter at Dayton Press (McCalls).
Mr. Macy was preceded in death by his wife Gertrude Macy in 1984 and his brothers and sisters.
He is survived by 4 daughters and sons-in-law Judy (Jean) Stafford of Vandalia, Carolyn (Michael) Copenhaver of Vandalia, Roberta (Ronald) Bourelle of Tipp City, Patricia (Lovell) Brown of Vandalia; 2 sons and daughters-in-law Leroy (Ann Marie) Macy of Brookville, David (Deborah) Macy of Reno NV; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives, friends and neighbors.
The family will receive friends at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia on Thursday evening from 5 to 7pm with funeral services to be held at 7:00pm. Graveside services will be held Friday at 10:00am at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.
