Earl Duncan Kepley, age 85, of Portland, passed away on August 18th, 2017 at Sumner Regional Medical Center. He was born in Robertson County, TN on August 9, 1932 to James and Stella West Kepley.

He is survived by daughter; Sandra "June" Payton of Portland ; Sons; Billy Kepley of Portland and Kevin(Sandy) Kepley of Portland; Sister-in-Law; Sue Griffith of Portland; Grandchildren; Chris Kepley, Sharon Payton, Stacy Kepley Krock, Jeff Payton, Adam Kepley, Laura Payton Allen, Lana Payton Woodward, Makala Payton, Carly Kepley, Kaleb Kepley; Great-Grandchildren; Megan Suttle, Peyton Kepley, Keaton Krock, Kaylynn Krock, Greyson Woodward, Elijah Woodward; Great-Great-Grandchildren; Maverick Suttle, Alexander Suttle.

He was preceded in death by his parents James and Stella Kepley, wife; Edlene Kepley, brother; Elmer Kepley, son-in-law; Victor Payton, sister-in-laws; Jean Williamson and Elizabeth Gregory.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 22, visitation Sunday, August 20, 2-9 p.m.; Monday, August 21, 9 a.m.-9 p.m.; Tuesday, August 21, 9 a.m.-11 a.m. with Bro. Johnny Tucker and Bro. James Parker officiating.

Pallbearers will be Chris Kepley, Jeff Payton, Adam Kepley, Lee Allen, Jay Woodward, Phillip Poag. Honorary Pallbears Kaleb Kepley, Jerry Dorris, Danny Trotter, Robert Jenkins, Raymond"Bud" Williams, Nick Pietro.

Mr. Kepley was a Lifelong member of Corinth Church of Christ, retired from 45 years at C.E.M.C and he worked for the City of Portland Fire Department for 30 years as a volunteer.

Interment will be in Portland Memorial Gardens.
