Mrs. Joel M. Wright Dies on Potter's Fork

Jane R. Wright, passed from time at her home on Potter's Fork, Ky., on Tuesday, March 13, 1945. She had been in poor health for the past fourteen years, becoming worse during the past few weeks. At the time of her passing she was 87 years, 3 months and 25 days of age. She was married to Joel Martin Wright in 1876. He preceded her in death 12 years ago. To them was born seven sons and four daughters: James M. Booker and Alpha deceased; Marvin, of Detroit, Mich.; Dr. Joel of Alpine, Texas; R. B. of Cromonia, Ky.; Sam M. of Neon, Ky.; Adam of Potter's Fork, Ky.; Mrs. Shade Bentley of Wise County, Ohio; Mrs. Aaron Anderson, of Cromonia, Ky., and Mrs. Asa Mise of Ravenna, Ky. "Grandma" Wright as she was well known to her many friends, was kind and good to everyone. She had for many years been a member of the Methodist Church and lived a devoted Christian life. Funeral services were held at the Neon Church of God on Thursday, March 15th, at 1:30 P.M. with Rev. Brooks and Rev. Overholt, officiating. Burial in the R. B. Wright Cemetery, Potter's Fork, Ky., Craft Funeral Home in charge.
