Mary Ellen Young Ingalls 72, of Danville, IN passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2014.
Mary was born in Indianapolis to the late Emery and Clara (Hackler) Young and was a student at Ben Davis High School and a member of Job's Daughters.
She was preceded in death by her parents and four siblings; Harold Young, Helen Caster, Ethel Puckett, and Emery Young, Jr.
She is survived and will be missed greatly by five siblings, Betty Wesley, Robert Young, Thomas Young, Peggy Amos, and Sue Underbrink; as well as her six children, David (Lou Anna) Ingalls, Diana (Gary) Utt, Steven (Donna) Ingalls, Jennifer Rehmet, Julie (Jeff) Ingalls-Sherrill, and Daniel Ingalls; eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Mary worked for many years as a CNA in the home health and hospice care fields and greatly appreciated all of her physicians, nurses and caregivers. Her family would like to extend their gratitude for all of the comfort provided by all.
