Lyman Ray Losee (Fritz), 72 passed away February 8, 2015 in West Valley City, Utah.

Lyman was born on May 11, 1943 in Salt Lake City, Utah to John Dean Losee and Jennie Losee and was the 8th of 9 children. Soon after Lyman was born the family moved to Thistle, Utah. This is where his love of the outdoors and its wildlife began, and only continued to grow throughout his life. If he was not home sitting in his beloved chair he was usually in the desert or the mountains Lyman also had a great love for motorcycles on and off road. He sold his Harley because he said there were to many crazy drivers on the road, with the money from the sale, he bought his daughter Paige and his son Justin dirt bikes. He even raced dirt bikes. Desert racing was his thing and he actually took first place in the state of Utah in 1974 for cross country desert racing. Lyman also loved to shoot and collect guns and loved to shoot trap. He was in leagues with the Utah Trap Shooting Association and has shot 100 out of 100 clay pigeons.

Lyman was married to Carolyn Groesbeck on June 20, 1968 in Spanish Fork, Utah, they had a daughter Paige and a son Justin.
Lyman was retired from the United States Air Force where he served four years in the Air Force and 18 years in the Utah Air National Guard. He enjoyed the many places in the world he traveled with the Military.
Lyman is survived by his wife Carolyn his daughter Paige, his son Justin, his three granddaughters River, Cheyenne and Averie and his brothers Fred, Steve and sister Coleen.
Lyman requested not to have a funeral. Instead, family and friends will be having a celebration of his life at his nieces (Annie) home, 3474 West Muriel Way, West Valley City, Utah, 84119, on Saturday, February 21st between the hours of 3:00 p m and 7:00 p m.
With him gone, there is, and will be, a huge hole in our hearts and our lives. We love you, Dad.
