James Robert Bee, 84, of 323 Arch Street, Weston passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2011 at the Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. He was born in Wood County, WV on August 21, 1926: son of the late Harry S. Bee and Lorrayne (Hughes) Bee.

Surviving is one daughter, Debra D. Ellis & Eddie of Jane Lew, and two sisters Patricia Smith & Reid and Ruth Annabelle Thompson all from Weston. He is survived by four grandchildren: Lisa D. Ellis, Brandon Ellis, Sean Ellis, and Kristin Ellis.

He was predeceased by his parents and two brothers Harry H. Bee and Donald K. Bee.

Mr. Bee was a Methodist by Faith and enjoyed cheering on the WVU Mountaineers. He loved being around his family and especially his grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue, Weston on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 from 12-2:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Clifford West officiating. Interment will follow services in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
