Otto Wilhelm Jentzen married Bertha May Arts. Their children were Pearl, Edna, Clifford and Frances Jentzen.

OBITUARY: TIMES-REPUBLICAN MARSHALLTOWN - 20 MARCH 1926 - LAST COL. - OTTO JENTZEN DEAD -LENNOX FURNACE COMPANY MOLDER DIES OF HEART DISEASE. Otto W. Jentzen, 43, 701 West Church street, a molder employed by the Lennox Furnace Company, died at the St. Thomas hospital at 12:30 this afternoon. He was taken to the hospital Monday. Death was caused by heart disease. Mr. Jentzen was born at Sheridan, Iowa, Sept 24, 1882, and came to this city when fifteen years old. He married Miss Bertha May Arts here Nov. 11, 1904. She survives him as do four children, Pearl, Edna, Clifford and Frances, all of this city; Two brothers, Herman W. Jentzen, city, and Charles H. Jentzen, living four miles west of the city, also are living. He was a member of the St. Mary's church, the Red Men and Moose lodge, and the molders union. The funeral will be held at the St. Mary's church at 9:30 Monday forenoon. Burial will be in Riverside.

NOTE: Otto's obituary says he was born 24 Sep 1882 at Sheriden, Iowa. His tombstone says he was born 1881.
