Hazel D. Currie, 58, of 222 Colgate Ave., was pronounced dead on arrival at Elyria Memorial Hospital at 12:10 p.m. yesterday. The Lorain County coroner will rule on the cause of death.
Mrs. Currie was born in Cleveland June 29, 1913, and was a resident of Elyria the past 21 years.
She was a member of the First Congregational Church here.
She is survived by her husband, Robert A. Currie, to whom she was married 33 years; towo sons, David G. of Glencoe, Ill., and Phillip A. of Binghamton, N.Y.; two grandchildren; and a brother, Dean W. Davis of Ithaca, N.Y.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. from the Harold Dicken Funeral Home, with the Rev. Richard Linde of the First Congregational Church officiating.
Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
