H. Wayne Orange, 75, of Troutville, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 2, 2015. He was born on March 28, 1940 in Troutville, Va. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert J. and Mary Bishop Orange; brother, Archie Orange; brothers-in-law, George Kent and Roy Thompson, Sr. Surviving are his loving wife of 56 years, Barbara Thompson Orange; devoted son, David and daughter-in-law, Kim Orange; two precious grandchildren, Bryan and Jessie Orange and their mother, Lynda Orange. His loving sister, Doris Kent; sisters-in-law, Ruby Orange, Mary Green, and Evelyn Gill; brother-in-law, Elmer Gill; along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, church family and friends. Wayne loved antique Fords, and raising goats and donkeys. He also enjoyed working on motorcycles and mopeds while working at Jimbo's Motorcycle in Cloverdale. He was a member of Gospel Light Baptist church where his service will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at 2:00 pm with Dr. M. Brian Swafford and Rev. Earl Clemons officiating. Interment will follow in Daleville Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday May 5, 2015 from 6 to 8 pm and Wednesday, May 6, 2015 from 1 to 2 pm also at Gospel Light Baptist Church, 6307 Cloverdale Road, Roanoke, Va. 24019. Those wishing to make a contributions, donations may be made to the American Heart Association and American Juvenile Diabetes Association.
