Mrs. Frances Ball Witt.
STATE REGISTER SPECIAL SERVICE.
Carrollton, Ill., Jan. 2. -
Died, at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. C.S. Boyd in Carrollton, Jan. 1, at 3:45 a.m., Mrs. Frances Ball Witt, aged 79 years.
Deceased was born in Wales, coming to this country when sixteen years of age. She was married to Jackson Witt April 23, 1863. Mrs. Witt was a life-long Christian, having been a member of the Methodist church since childhood.
Decedent is survived by two children,
Henry Witt, a prominent farmer of Farmersville, Ill.,
and Irene, wife of Rev. C.S. Boyd, pastor of the Carrollton Methodist church,
also the following brothers and sisters,
George Ball of Jacksonville,
Henry Ball of Girard,
Mrs. Mary Brooks of Kane,
and Mrs. Agnes Thomas of Springfield.
The funeral will take place from the Methodist church in Girard Wednesday, Jan. 2, at 10 a.m.
Interment will be in the Girard cemetery.
