David Adcock was known as "Hady." He died at the age of 78 at the Lincoln County Rehab Center in Troy, Missouri. He was the son of Nannie and Dave Adcock and one of 12 siblings. His early years was spent in Tennessee where he recieved his education. He was married to Mildred (Hunt) Adcock, she died in 1962. He later married Shirley (Dickerman) Adcock on November 1st, 1963. He worked as a Lineman for the Cuivre River Electric CO-OP in Troy, Missouri for 37 years, from 1953-1990. He belonged to a Union, :ocal # 2. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening. He is survived by: His wife of 43 years, Shirley Adcock of Troy, Missouri, 2 sons, Carl Adcock of Troy, Missouri and Michael Adcock from Overland Park, Kansas. Also two grandchildren, three brothers, Thurman Adcock from Shelbyville, Tennessee, Morris Adcock from Shelbyville, Tennessee, and Doak Adcock of Wartrace, Tennessee. 2 sisters, Mary Deason of Nashville, Tennessee and Gladys Kelly of Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his parents Nannie and Dave, 4 brothers, Layton Adcock, Elroy Adcock, Tommy Adcock, and an infant brother, Earnest Dean Adcock. Also 2 sisters, Clayton Ritterberry and Katie Arnold.
