"I give & bequeath my Soul to the hands of God that gave it...I give & bequeath to my beloved wife Hipsibah Killam...my son Phineas...my son Zadock...my son Amasa Killam…my dutiful son Nathan Killam…my son Jopthah…son John...dutiful daughter Sarah Rose...my dutiful daughters Abigail, Marcey, Hipsabah, and Olive Killam…divided equally among them…I make my dutiful son Nathan sole executor…give my four daughters in his (Nathan) hand until they marry or come to the age of eighteen years..."
4 May 1754: daughters of John Killam, dec'd, Mercy in the 16th year of her age & Hepzibah in the 14th year of her age appeared in court to ask that their brother Nathan Killam be their guardian...Apr 25, 1759: John Killam, son of John Killam, in the 15th year of his age request that Nathan Killam be his guardian.
