Evelyn P. Smith James, 41, of Prenter, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday June 13, 2006, in CAMC Memorial Hospital Charleston, after a short illness.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Azel Smith and Elsie Smith Boggs.
Surviving are her husband, William Bruce James; son, Brett of Prenter; sisters, Beckie Smith of Prenter, Kim Smith of Prenter, Teresa Perdue and her husband, Barry, of Winifrede; brother, Eshel Smith and his wife, Peggy, of Prenter; brothers-in-law, Shawn and Doug James; sisters-in-law, Betty James and Rose Mary Guthrie; and three nieces and seven nephews.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet, is in charge of arrangements.
