KURT A. DERR, age 37 of Osseo passed away Monday, December 15, 2008 at home. He was born on August 29, 1971 in Hillsdale, the son of Dean E. and Sharon A. (Delaney) Derr. Kurt attended Pittsford Schools. He worked for Frank Armstrong Construction in Hillsdale. Kurt enjoyed working with horses, working with his hands, especially building dog houses and rabbit hunting when he had time.
Kurt is survived by four children, Dustin Smith of Pittsford, Natasha Smith, Ashley Derr and Derek Derr and his children's mother, Christina Smith all of Osseo, his mother, Sharon Derr of Osseo, five brothers, Danny Derr of Osseo, Bobby (Betty) Derr of TN, Denny Derr of Osseo, Dale (Diana Stump) Derr of Osseo, Darrell Derr of Hillsdale, four sisters, Sherrie (Joe) Dangelo of TN, Marta Mohr of TX Penny (Roger) Perez of West Unity, and Donna (Dave) Miler of Osseo, special uncle, Larry Delaney of Osseo and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father and brother, Kevin Derr.
