Norma Jean Alley, 83, of 8th Street, New Brighton, formerly of New Castle and Washington, PA, died Monday, April 27, 2015 at Passavant Retirement Center in Zelienople, Pennsylvania. She was born September 18, 1931 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Homer and Gladys (Porter) Cramer. She was married to the late Jesse E. Alley who died August 13, 2002. Mrs. Alley was a greeter at Wal-Mart in Washington, PA for 10 years. She was a member of the VFW, Elks Club and enjoyed dancing, crocheting and listening to music. The family would like to thank the staff at Passavant Retirement Center for their excellent care.

She is survived by three, seven grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph and Homer Cramer, and three sisters, Stella Marie Ferm, Ruth Stiles, and Mary Lou Heckathorne. Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Thursday, April 30, 2015 from 4 PM to 6 PM. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 6:00 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. William Goetz will officiate. Burial will be in the Kings Chapel Cemetery.
