Betty L. Berry, 74, of Muscatine, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, Iowa.

Visitation will be held on Monday from 10:00 a.m., until service time at the Jesus Mission Church, Muscatine. Memorials may be directed to the Jesus Mission Church in Betty’s name. The Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Service is caring for the arrangements.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 11, 2015, at 11:00 a.m., at the Jesus Mission Church, Muscatine. Pastor Sharon Phillips will officiate. Interment will be in Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery, Muscatine, Iowa. Following the interment a time of food and fellowship will be held at the church.

Betty Louise Bell was born on December 14, 1940, in Washington, Iowa, the daughter of Donald L. and Dorothy E. (King) Bell. She married Clyde LeRoy Berry and were later divorced. She was a member of the Jesus Mission Church where she was head of the prayer team, a board member of the Jesus Mission Church, and involved with Jessica Faye’s Closet. Betty enjoyed reading, watching movies, doing paint by numbers and word searches.

She is survived by one brother, Donald Bell; one half-sister, Roslyn Thompson; and two special friends, Sharon Sterner and Sandy Wendel, both of Muscatine.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and two sons, John David Berry and Charles Dwain Berry.
