DEATH OF MRS. COVERT
Mrs. W. D. Covert of the Hopewell neighborhood, died Wednesday morning at about 4:00 from the effects of heart failure following an operation for gallstones at the hospital of Dr. Province on North Main street.
Mrs. Covert was born in Johnson county, February 18, 1854, and at the time of her death was 56 years and 11 months of age. She was married to Mr. Covert in 1904, who with two sisters, Miss Margaret Bergen of New York City and Mrs. Laura Banta of Fairfield, Illinois, survives.
By the death of Mrs. Covert the neighborhood loses one of its most highly esteemed ladies, and one whose amiable disposition made her beloved by all.
The funeral services will be held this Friday afternoon at 2:30 at the Hopewell church…. Interment will be made in Hopewell cemetery.
