22 Apr 1930: Jacob S. Kohr, of 924 Guilford Street, died this morning at 9:30 o'clock, at his home of cerebral hemorrhage, after an illness of 12 days. He was 69 years old, and was employed as a watchman at Luria Brothers Scrapyard. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church. He leaves to survive, his wife Catherine (nee Bright); and the following children: Harry, Jersey City; Elmer, John and Frank, all of Lebanon; Mrs. Annie Herr, Annville; & brother, John of Branchdale; two sisters, Mrs. Malinda Fake, Lebanon; and Mrs. Lydia Young, Green Point; also 16 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Interment to be in the Ebenezer Cemetery. [Lebanon Daily News]
