Antonia Z. Mora, age 90, born in Tomé, NM and a resident of Albuquerque, passed away at home with her family at her side on Thursday, May 7, 2015.
Antonia is survived by her daughters, Julia Martínez and her husband, Buddy and Merlyn Gonzáles and her husband, Bobby, sisters, Lucy Gómez and her husband, Gilbert, Connie Gonzáles and her husband, Ben, brothers, Johnny Elwell and his wife, Maxine and Richard Elwell, grandchildren, Ruby, Pearl and her husband, Arnando, Joe, Carmen and Ernie, great-grandchildren, Monique, Angelique, Destiny, Desiree and Andres, great-great-grandson, Jace and many other extended family and friends.
Antonia was preceded in death by her husband, Andres Mora, grandson, P.J. Maéz and sister, Vicky Griego.
Visitation will be on Monday, May 11, 2015 from 9:50 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW with a Rosary to be recited at 10:15 a.m. by Caroline. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Escobosa Cemetery, Escobosa, NM. Pallbearers will be Ruby Martínez, Pearl Márquez, Carmen Gonzáles, Monique Martínez, Angelique Martínez and Destiny Hayes. Honorary pallbearer will be Desiree Martínez.
