Kacee Lynn McDade, age 28, Kansas City, passed away at 1:42 p.m. Monday, April 27, 2015 at her residence after a sudden illness.

Kacee was born January 24, 1987 in Joplin to Ric McDade and Cindy Clark Barta. She had lived in Joplin before moving to Springfield in 2003 and eventually, Kansas City in 2007.

She worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Thomas Anderson and Associates for several years. Like any other young women, Kacee was fond of shopping. She was a frequent visitor of the gym and attended The Cause Church, Kansas City.

Kacee was also a volunteer at the Gillis House, a home in Kansas City for abandoned boys.

She is survived by her brothers, Eric McDade and his wife, Michelle, Excelsior Springs, Missouri, Tee Jay McDade and his wife, Chasidy, Pittsburg, Kansas; her mother, Cindy Barta and her husband, Darin, Oak Grove, Missouri; her father, Ric McDade, Springfield; a sister, Danika McDade, Springfield; maternal grandparents, Clarence and Sue Clark, Joplin, Dick and Joy Barta, Independence, Kansas; paternal grandmother, Kathryn Byrd, Valrico, Florida; and several other extended family members and many friends.

Memorial services are planned for Monday at 3:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary. Rev. Bob Simon will officiate. The family will receive friends following the memorial services at the mortuary.
