ORAN LEE FOSTER DIES; FINAL RITES IN LACLEDE
Funeral services for Oran Lee Foster, 63 of Laclede, were held Monday afternoon at the Laclede Methodist Church. Burial was in the Laclede Cemetery.
Mr. Foster, a longtime employee of the Henderson Produce Co. in Laclede, died Friday afternoon at his home in Laclede. He had been ill for the past two months.
He is survived by his wife, Edna of the home; his mother, Mrs. Nancy J. Foster of Laclede; four sons, Herbert L. Foster and Raymond Foster, both of Denver, Colorado, Richard Foster of Fayette, Missouri, and James Foster of Kingman, Kansas; three daughters, Mrs. Ned Brenner and Mrs. Gene McCollum, both of Laclede, Mrs. Bobby Walker of Cameron; two brothers, Charles Foster and Noble Foster; two sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Wright and Mrs. Dorothy Hoselton; and 25 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter and granddaughter.
Mr. Foster was born Jan. 30, 1901 near Chillicothe to Andrew J. and Nancy J. (Herring) Foster. He married Edna Allen on Feb. 23, 1922.
