Clarissa "Clara" was a daughter of Henry & Melissa [Burr]VanBuren, originally of Saratoga Co New York. The family came to Toledo Ohio in early 1869. Clara married Ralph Hone [1853-1895] on 28 December 1881 in Toledo. She was the mother of Henry, J. Miles, Charles, Ray and daughter Minnie Hannah Laudenslager. She was a member of the Lewis Baptist church and a charter member of the Riverside Baptist Church.

MRS HONE SUCCUMBS IN DAUGHTER'S HOME
Mrs Clara M VanBuren Hone, a resident of Toledo for 56 years died Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E. L. Loudenslager, 909 St. Johns Street. She had been ill five weeks.
Mrs Hone was a member of the Lewis Baptist church and a charter member of Riverside Baptist church. Besides Mrs. Loudenslager, she leaves four sons, Henry R and J. Miles, Tulsa Okla; Charles C, Coquitlam, B.C., and Ray R, San Antonio, Tex; two sisters, Mrs Callie Harris, Troy, N.Y. and Mrs Walter Durr, Petersburg, Mich., and 13 grandchildren.
Services will be held in the Boyer mortuary, Collingwood Memorial Thursday at 1 P.M. Burial will be in Forest cemetery.
