Mrs. Brenda Kay Drye Bost, 62, of Concord passed away on Monday May 11, 2015. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6 to 8pm at Wilkinson Funeral Home. The funeral will be 11am Thursday at Friendship UMC with Rev. Roger Armistead and Rev. Gary Morris officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul's UMC Cemetery. Mrs. Bost was born on November 6, 1952 in Cabarrus County. She was the daughter of Mina Mae Burris Drye and the late Harry F. Drye. Along with her mother she is survived by her husband, Eugene Thompson Bost, III; one daughter, Amy Bost Irish and husband, Stephen Wayne Irish of Stanfield; one son, Brant Thompson Bost and wife, Amy Ritchie Bost of Concord; one sister, Mrs. Janet Drye Potoczny of Michigan; one brother, Mr. Doug Drye of Mt. Pleasant; five grandchildren, Brody Wayne Simpson, Wyatt Montgomery Simpson, Zoey Lynn Simpson, Sophie Lynn Irish and Gradin Elias Bost, along with four step-grandchildren, Josiah Fleming, Joshua Fleming, Miranda Fleming and Jonathan Fleming. Mrs. Bost was Co-Owner of Bost Grist Mill. She loved her family especially spending time with her kids and grandkids. Mrs. Bost loved flowers and gardening. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
