Dorothy A. Culbertson

Dorothy A. Culbertson, 90, of Valley Road died Tuesday, Nov. 2, 1993 at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville.

Dorothy was born in Dansville April 26, 1903, the daughter of Frederick and Carrie Stone Acomb. She was married Oct. 18, 1927 to Oliver Culbertson, who died Sept. 11, 1988. She was a member of the Geneseo Presbyterian Church, the Ossian Ladies Aid, and a former member of the Ossian Grange.

She is survived by three daughters, Maryann (Loren) Bonner of Ossian, Judith Ward of Geneva, and Dorothy (Edward) Woodman of Lima; four sons, Edward (Arlene) of Lima, Daniel (Betty) of Lima, Victor (Sue) of LeRoy, and Richard (Dortha) of Tampa, Fla. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Chamberlin Funeral Home, Inc., 73 Main Street, Dansville, where a funeral service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Dayle Dickey officiating. Burial will take place in Greenmount Cemetery.

Those wishing may make memorial contributions to the Dansville Ambulance or the Ossian Fire Department.
