Moder, Wesley J.

Wesley J. Moder, 75, of 15407 Buck Lane, Mishicot, entered into eternal life on Monday, September 9, 2013, at his residence.

Wesley was born July 14, 1938, in Clintonville, WI, to the late George and Loretta Tebo Moder. He was a 1956 graduate of the Clintonville High School. On April 19, 1958, he married the former Patricia Koenig at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Stangleville.

Wesley worked as a foreman for the Mirro Mfg. Co. for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time at his cottage in Mountain, WI. He also enjoyed playing cards, especially Sheepshead. Wesley also loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was passionate in helping his children build their homes, and getting started in life.

Wesley is survived by his wife, Patricia; three daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Dean Dugan, of Mishicot; Lila and Steven Garceau, of Two Rivers; Linda and Eric Eichhorst, of Reedsville; three sons and two daughters-in-law, John and Kelly Moder, of Manitowoc; George Moder, of Kewaunee; Tom and Sue Moder, of Mishicot; 12 grandchildren,: Shannon Paquette, Gary and Michael Oliveira, Dana (Brian) McDonald, Dawn (Eric) Hill, Scott and Kevin Garceau, Daniel Moder, Katelyn and Kyle Moder, Tristan and Alexis Eichhorst; 5 great-grandchildren, Blake, Layla, Conner, Macy, and Ashlin. He is furthur survived by four brothers, Glenn (Myrna) Moder, of Manitowoc; Leonard (Alice) Moder, of Menasha; Charles (Mary) Moder, of Neenah; Ronald (Mary) Moder, Neenah; two sisters, Susan (Evan) Rogers, of Marian, WI; Polly Rodgers, of Neenah; two sisters-in-law, Nancy Moder, of Neenah; Betty (Billy) Fritsch, of Cato; nieces, nephews, and his partner-in-crime, and close friend, Don Khaler, of Gillett.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Wayne Moder; a brother-in-law, Norman Rodgers; and by his granddaughter Shannon's husband, Jim Paquette.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 12, 2013, at St. Isidore the Farmer Catholic Church in Tisch Mills, with the Reverend Dennis Drury officiating, and assisted by Deacon Robert Pribek. Relatives and friends may call after 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Lambert-Eckert Funeral Home in Mishicot, and will conclude at 7:00 p.m. with a parish wake service led by Deacon Pribek. Visitation will continue after 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at the church, until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.

The Moder family would like to express a very special thank you to Dr. Richard Theobald, and to the Aurora VNA Hospice for the special care extended to Wesley during his illness. Your kindness and compassion will always be remembered.
