Barry Lee Gunnoe of Clover, SC, formerly of Winfield, WV, passed away in his sleep on May 10, 2015, at Pruitt Healthcare in Rock Hill, SC, after a short illness.

He was born on November 30, 1947, to Robert and Louise Gunnoe in Charleston, WV.
Barry was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Gunnoe.

He was a 1966 Winfield High School graduate, an Air Force Veteran of 11 years, where he served multiple tours of duty including Bangkok, Thailand, and Bitburg, Germany. He belonged to Nitro No. 170 AF & AM and retired in 2014 from US Airways as a mechanic with more than 28 years of service. Barry was an avid boater and enjoyed many days relaxing on his boats on Lake Wylie between the Carolinas. He loved spending time in his garage and with his three dogs.
Barry is survived by his wife of 24 years, Brooke Deaner Gunnoe, and his beloved son, Bryan C. Gunnoe, both of the home in Clover, he is also survived by his mother, Louise Workman Gunnoe, three brothers: John Scott Gunnoe (Linda) of Lynchburg, VA, Robert Lee Gunnoe, Jr., of Elizabeth, WV, and Grant K. Gunnoe (Robin) of Winfield, WV, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service for Barry will be 1:00pm Thursday at Cunningham Memorial Park, Upper Mausoleum, Kanawha Terrace, St. Albans WV, 2015, with Chaplain Mike Jarrett officiating. Masonic Rites will be provided by Nitro No. 170 AF & AM.
