PORT JERVIS — Theresa Alfieri of Port Jervis, NY died Saturday, May 9 at Middletown Park Manor, Middletown, NY She was 73.
She was born July 25, 1941 in Brooklyn, NY the daughter of the late Joseph Castiglione, Sr. and the late Clara Castiglione.
Theresa was married for 31 years to Dominick Alfieri, Sr. prior to his death on June 5, 1992.
She worked as a Sewing Machine Operator for Barbara Quilting, Port Jervis, NY and a self-employed bookkeeper.
She loved to sew, and crochet. She loved to do crossword puzzles, arts and craft projects.
A family statement read: The family would like to extend their gratitude to the all the staff at Middletown Park Manor for their kindness, and their warm hearts. In addition, we would like extend our appreciation to the Oncology Unit of Orange Regional Medical.
Surviving are her two sons: Dominick Alfieri, Jr. and his wife Kristi of Dingmans Ferry and Michael Alfieri of Sarasota, FL; two daughters: Theresa Lamb and her husband Dennis of Huguenot, NY and Christina Alfieri of Orlando, FL; her brother Joseph Castiglione, Jr. and his wife Sheila of Godeffroy, NY; sister Dolores Storms and her husband John Jr. of Huguenot, NY; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, also several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday, May 11 at the Gray-Parker Funeral Home, Inc., 100 East Main Street, Port Jervis. Burial was at Rural Valley Cemetery, Cuddebackville, NY.
