Jerry A. Parris was buried in Mt. Olive Cemetery in the Lattiwood community after a graveside service Thursday with Bro. Jerry Burgett officiating.
Mr. Parris, an Albertville resident, died Tuesday, May 12, 2015, at Huntsville Hospital. He was 74.
Mr. Parris was born to Robert Allen and Ada Pauline Parris Dec. 12, 1940.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Parris; 2 daughters, Rebecca Elrod (James "Cowboy") and Sandra Rowell (Kevin); a son, Roger Allen Parris (Tammy); 7 grandchildren, Chris Camp, Misty Daniel, Talesa Hardaway, Roger Allen Parris II, Justin Rowell, Chase Rowell and Jordan Rowell; 13 great-grandchildren; a sister, Bonnie Faye Rhoades Agan; and a brother, Jesse Edward Parris.
Mr. Parris was preceded in death by 2 brothers, JT and Joe Bob Parris; a sister, Betty Parris; a granddaughter, Britny Madison Rowell and a great-grandson, Brayden Lukas Daniel.
