Mrs. Ada Mackinnon died Sunday, Nov. 11 at her residence after a long illness.
She was born in Stockton Srpings, March 9, 1909, the daughter of Edward H. and Blanche (Barry) Doyle.
A graduate of Caribou High School and Emerson College she was a member of the first Universalist Ladies Aid. She married John J. MacKinnon Sept. 22, 1930.
She is survived by her husband of Caribou; one son, Edward D. MacKinnon of Quincy, Mass.; two daughters, Mrs. Leon (Mary ) Nelson of Medford, Mass. and Mrs. John R. (Margaret) McGrath; a brother, Reginald B. Doyle of Caribou; three sisters, Mrs. Jean Petry of Warrington, Pen., Mrs. Margaret Smith of Caribou and Mrs. Ira (Carolyn) Boynton of Greensboro, N.C., and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 13 at the First Universalist Church in Caribou. In lieu of flowers friends are asked to make donations to the Caribou Public Library.
