Traynor, Dorothea J., 95, of Anoka Avenue Barrington, died Saturday at the Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of the late James Harkins and the late James Traynor. Born in East Providence, a daughter of the late William and Flora (Elliott) Vinnicum Lyon Kingston, she had lived in Swansea, East Providence, Coventry, Rockville and Willimantic, CT and most recently Barrington. She the last member of the Vinnicum family of Swansea, and a descendent Sampson Mason, the first proprietor of Rehoboth and a descendent of 3 Mayflower Passengers. She had been a food demonstrator in local markets and did home care for many years. She leaves a son, Charles Harkins of Barrington, two daughters, Donna Field of Mesa, AZ, Sheila Tobin of Gold Canyon, AZ, two brothers, Lawrence Lyon of Berkley, MI, John Kingston of Warwick, a step son James I. Traynor of Valdosta, GA, a step daughter, Marcia Fourness of Berwick, ME, 11 grandchildren, 21 great and 7 great great grandchildren. She was also the sister of the late Roberta Brennan and step mother of the late Valerie Traynor and Dianne Stoddard.
