Obituary:
Thomas Morton Wakefield, a brother of A.E. Wakefield of the Valley pike, died at an early morning at his home in East Wheatfield township, Indiana county, aged about 74 years. The deceased was the fourth son of Mr. and Mrs. David Wakefield, deceased, and was born in Indiana county. He had an honorable war record having served in Co. F. Second battalion, Pennsylvania infantry. He is survived by his wife, three sons and three daughters. The funeral will take place at 2 o'clock this afternoon, interment to be at Nineveh.
Civil War veteran: 2nd Independent Battalion, from July 23, 1863 to January 21, 1864.
