Minnie loved her family dearly (especially her grandchildren) and she loved her community, as was evident by her many years of service as an EMT on the Haws Run Rescue Squad and her many years of serving the special needs children of Onslow County. She was an avid gardener and thoroughly enjoyed canning and freezing her many fruits & vegetables each year, which she insisted on sharing with her family. She is also survived by three brothers: Gerald (Pat) Padgett, of Hampstead, Durlin (Dot) Padgett & Carl (Terri) Padgett, both of Maple Hill.
