That will was probated 12 Dec 1853 in Essex County, New Jersey. Phebe's brother, Archibald, a merchant at Newark, was named Executor.
Phebe made out her own will 11 Aug 1862 at Newark. In it, she names her daughter, Anna S. Hillyer; sons Charles W. and George F. Rankin, and made her brother Archibald Woodruff and Stafford R. W. Heath Executors. Phebe's will was proved 22 Sep 1862.
