Worked as a roofer with his brother James Jr. He always enjoyed traveling and hunting with family in PA. He built a CONDO/POND-SIDE fort for his grandson Jason asa playhouse in E. Haddam. He was extremely handy in all forms of construction etc. Together with his brother Jim, they did much of the roofing in the Levitown Development in the 1950s.
